Composition, an exhibition of process in a new creative space.
Requirements:

Submit up to 5 .jpg images at 72 dpi of submissions (open to all mediums).

Include name, title, medium, dimensions, date and price.

Include artist statement.

Include full specifications and instructions for media installations.
Note:

Dimensions of the works must not exceed 3’x3’ for two-dimensional works, or 3’x3’x3’ for three-dimensional sculptures.

For-sale space with 100% of the profits going to the artist.

The Centre for Academic Leadership of the University of Ottawa in conjunction with the Curating for Contemporary Art class of the University of Ottawa are looking for submissions for a three month exhibition in a space offered to support Vice Deans, Department Chairs, Research Leads, and Professors in their exploration of their career paths. This centre concerns itself with services including creative workshops, development and management training, mentorship and learning resources as well as leadership development for women who are exploring academic research. The space and its staff value creation, process, and interdisciplinary networking to assist with the projects presented by its researchers.
To offer inspiration to these individuals, the Curating for Contemporary Art class is creating an exhibition of works based on the specific processes or unique methodology an artist employs with potential for literary or academic connections. Submitted pieces will be considered under the conditions of connection to the themes of process, conceptual alignment with literature or academic topics researched at the university, as well as artistic merit. In an artist statement to be included with your submission, please specify among all else, the procedures of each piece that is being submitted as well as any influences you may have had towards the procedure as we are displaying a significance towards the inspired processes of the creative beings around us.
